Introduction

Your librarians can help you with questions relating to the information you need for your work, such as where to find the information sources and different types of information, how to reference them in your School style, how to manage the information you gather and read, and how to improve your literature searches including for systematic reviews.

You can book a one-to-one with us or a group training session.

What to do if need to cancel

If for any reason you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel your booking as soon as you can as this will free up the time for another student. Your booking confirmation and reminder emails include a link that will cancel your appointment. Alternatively, let us know by email.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will keep you informed of any changes and endeavour to reschedule as necessary.

Lexis Certification Online

There are two Lexis Certifications that can be undertaken, the legal research foundation certification which tests you on your ability to research legal material and your familiarity with the legal research module.

The second is the legal research advanced certification which builds on the foundation certification to develop a more specialised skillset and deeper understanding of how to navigate the platform.

This session will talk you through the basics and signpost you to sign up for certification and provide you with guidance on additional support.
