Your librarians can help you with questions relating to the information you need for your work, such as where to find the information sources and different types of information, how to reference them in your School style, how to manage the information you gather and read, and how to improve your literature searches including for systematic reviews.

You can book a one-to-one with us or a group training session. 

What to do if need to cancel

If for any reason you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel your booking as soon as you can as this will free up the time for another student. Your booking confirmation and reminder emails include a link that will cancel your appointment. Alternatively, let us know by email.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will keep you informed of any changes and endeavour to reschedule as necessary.

Swap your lecture notes for a game board and your stress for some strategy! Every Friday lunchtime, we're turning the library social zone into a tabletop battleground (the friendly kind). Expect dice-rolling, card-shuffling, light scheming, and just the right amount of competitive banter.

Whether you're a Monopoly menace, a Catan connoisseur, or you still call it “that sheep game,” there’s a seat for you. No sign-up, no pressure—just games, good vibes, and excellent excuses to procrastinate productively.

BYOBG (Bring Your Own Board Game) optional. Enthusiasm required.
